- When I first heard about this
-
- game I was told that it was going
-
- to be another dig-dug, I was mis-
-
- informed. This game is original,
-
- exciting, frustrating, charming,
-
- cute, and utterly addictive.
-
- What I mean by addictive is that
-
- usually when I purchase a game,
-
- I play it for a day, maybe two,
-
- but Boulder Dash has had me
-
- charmed for in excess of a week
-
- and surely for weeks to come.
-
-
- BD's animation is very cute
-
- especially when Rockford, the
-
- 'man' you control, stamps his
-
- foot impatiently if you wait too
-
- long before making a move. BD
-
- has 16 different caves which you
-
- explore to find and 'eat' crystals
-
- while avoiding fireflies, rocks,
-
- butterflies, amoeba, and the
-
- other occupational hazards
-
- that are placed on our little
-
- spelunker. After Micro Fun's
-
- flop, Dino Eggs, this could be
-
- called their redemption. In my
-
- opinion this game is a must for
-
- all you cutesy game lovers. It
-
- costs about $35.
