  19.       When I first heard about this

  21.    game I was told that it was going
  22.  
  23.    to be another dig-dug, I was mis-
  24.  
  25.    informed.  This game is original,
  26.  
  27.    exciting, frustrating, charming,
  28.  
  29.    cute, and utterly addictive.
  30.  
  31.    What I mean by addictive is that
  32.  
  33.    usually when I purchase a game,
  34.  
  35.    I play it for a day, maybe two,
  36.  
  37.    but Boulder Dash has had me
  38.  
  39.    charmed for in excess of a week
  40.  
  41.    and surely for weeks to come.

  44.      BD's animation is very cute
  45.  
  46.    especially when Rockford, the
  47.  
  48.    'man' you control, stamps his
  49.  
  50.    foot impatiently if you wait too
  51.  
  52.    long before making a move.  BD
  53.  
  54.    has 16 different caves which you
  55.  
  56.    explore to find and 'eat' crystals
  57.  
  58.    while avoiding fireflies, rocks,
  59.  
  60.    butterflies, amoeba, and the
  61.  
  62.    other occupational hazards
  63.  
  64.    that are placed on our little
  65.  
  66.    spelunker.  After Micro Fun's
  67.  
  68.    flop, Dino Eggs, this could be
  69.  
  70.    called their redemption.  In my
  71.  
  72.    opinion this game is a must for
  73.  
  74.    all you cutesy game lovers.  It
  75.  
  76.    costs about $35.
